DR RACHEL HANNAM

Dr Rachel Hannam has been a registered psychologist for 24 years and works in private practice in Brisbane. She has a longstanding interest in complexity, human development, and depth psychology. Her work explores how individuals and families navigate uncertainty, identity, and transformation through the lens of complex systems. She also draws from the insights of contextual psychology approaches such as ACT. Rachel has spoken and written on the risks of gender medicine and about non-medical approaches to gender confusion, advocating for thoughtful, developmentally-informed care. She works with parents and young adults to support exploration of identity, beliefs, relationships, and wellbeing, fostering reflective practice, resilience, and meaningful growth through compassionate, process-based approaches.
