About The Summit

Following on from the astounding success of the inaugural CASC Gender Healthcare Summit in 2025, we’re proud to introduce the 2026 event featuring international and national experts.

This summit will examine gender-affirming care as practised by the medical profession in Australia. It will consider the evidence for it and its impact on children, young people and families. Recent international developments and court cases, and alternative approaches to sex/gender-related distress in young people, will be explored.

Keynote speakers include:

• Stella O’Malley - Pyschotherapist and founder of Genspect International

• Sallie Baxendale - Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist

• Patrick Parkinson - Emeritus of Law at University of Qld and specialist in family law and child protection

• Marcus & Susan Evans - Former Tavistock clinicians and gender care practitioners (via Zoom)
