SUSAN EVANS

Susan Evans is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist who currently works in private practice in the UK seeing adults and children and families with gender identity issues. Susan worked in a variety of mental health services in the NHS, one of which was as a clinical specialist in the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust Gender Identity Service (GIDS) for children. She was also a Senior Clinical Lecturer and psychotherapist in the adult department at the Trust, and Senior Fellow in Education, University of East London. Susan started her NHS career in 1977 as a State Registered nurse, then trained as Registered Mental Health nurse.
