DR. ROBERTO D’ANGELO

Roberto D’Angelo is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst in private practice in Byron Bay, NSW.

He sees adolescents and young adults with gender dysphoria and detransitioners. His publications explore how gender can form an amalgam with other psychological issues and why a psychotherapeutic process is an essential aspect of the clinical response to youth gender dysphoria. He is a training and supervising analyst at the Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis Los Angeles and the President of SEGM.
